On behalf of a leading construction company based in Cairo, Egypt, we are seeking a skilled and proactive Construction Engineer to oversee on-site operations and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo.

About the Role

As a Construction Engineer, you will be responsible for managing on-site activities, coordinating with contractors and project teams, and ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards. You will play a key role in translating design plans into successful project execution while maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety across all stages of construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction site activities to ensure alignment with project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Review technical drawings and provide feedback to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Track project progress, prepare reports, and support project managers in resource planning.
• Conduct inspections to verify work quality and adherence to specifications.
• Manage site documentation, including materials, permits, and progress updates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance site productivity and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in site supervision or construction engineering within the Egyptian market.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant engineering tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
• Familiarity with Egyptian building codes and safety regulations.
• Fluency in Arabic and good command of English.
