Job Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for sports construction projects, including natural and artificial turf fields, athletic tracks, indoor halls, and swimming pools.
• Evaluate and monitor project expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and identifying potential cost overruns.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, verify completed work, and ensure compliance with contract specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather data, resolve discrepancies, and optimize resource allocation.
• Review and negotiate contracts, variations, and claims with suppliers, contractors, and clients.
• Prepare and present periodic financial reports, forecasts, and cash flow analyses to management and stakeholders.
• Assist in procurement processes by evaluating tenders, analyzing bids, and recommending suppliers or subcontractors.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all project costs, changes, and contractual correspondence.
• Support value engineering initiatives to maximize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to relevant legal, regulatory, and safety standards throughout all project phases.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 7 years of proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction or sports infrastructure sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials standards.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills for dealing with contractors and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with contract administration and claims management.
• Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment with occasional site visits.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
