Job Title: Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Developer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the customization, development, and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. You will work closely with business users to understand requirements, design tailored solutions and ensure the effective integration of Business Central into our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop & Customize Business Central: Create and modify extensions, reports, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL language and development tools.

Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design appropriate solutions that meet organizational needs.

Integration Development: Implement and support integration solutions between Business Central and other systems (e.g., third-party applications, WMS, OFS, ERP, etc.).

Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support for any issues related to Business Central development and troubleshoot system errors or bugs.

Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing, system testing, and debugging to ensure a high level of quality in the solutions provided.

Deployment & Updates: Ensure smooth deployment of developed solutions and manage the application of updates and patches for Business Central.

Documentation: Create technical documentation and user guides to ensure proper knowledge transfer and easy maintenance of the developed solutions.

Training & Collaboration: Assist in training internal users on Business Central functionalities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 4+ years of experience in developing, customizing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of AL language and experience with Business Central extensions, C/AL, and AL object model, GIT, Docker, Powershell.

Integration Experience: REST, ODATA, JASON, XML.

Microsoft Dynamics 365: Proficiency with Business Central, its modules (Finance, Purchase, Sales, Warehouse, etc.), and related tools (e.g., Visual Studio Code, Business Central Web Client).

Database & Integration Skills: Experience with SQL, web services, and integration tools, including API-based integration for Business Central.

Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and document solutions clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer certification or other related certifications.

Additional Technical Skills: Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or other Microsoft technologies for process automation and data analysis.

Cloud Knowledge: Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms for Business Central integration.

Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies.
