Job Description
- Process and issue airline, train, and bus tickets for clients using global distribution systems (GDS).
- Handle customer inquiries regarding ticket availability, pricing, and travel itineraries in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with airlines, travel partners, and internal teams to resolve booking issues and ensure smooth ticketing operations.
- Verify travel documents and ensure compliance with relevant travel regulations and company policies.
- Manage ticket changes, cancellations, and rebookings, providing accurate information on fees and policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline schedules, fare rules, and promotional offers.
- Assist clients with special requests such as seat selection, meal preferences, and additional services.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on ticketing activities and sales performance.
- Support the sales team by providing ticketing expertise and assisting with group bookings.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring a positive travel experience.
Job Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in ticketing, reservations, or a related travel industry role.
- Proficiency in using global distribution systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex booking scenarios.
