The Light Current Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining low-current systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, audio/video, and networking systems. Success in this role means delivering high-quality, reliable installations, ensuring systems operate efficiently, and supporting projects from planning through handover. This position plays a key role in ensuring the organization’s technical infrastructure meets safety, performance, and operational standards.
Responsibilities
Design, install, and maintain light current systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, sound systems, and data networks.
Review project drawings, technical specifications, and site requirements to ensure accurate implementation.
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to guarantee optimal performance.
Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
Prepare technical reports, system documentation, and as-built drawings.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company quality procedures.
Provide technical support and recommendations during project execution
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering. Strong knowledge of low-current systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, BMS, Data Networks, Audio/Visual).

Hands-on experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of low-current solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
