Job Description

  • As a fast-growing company, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented B2B Account Executive / Business Development Executive to join our team. 
  • This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle for business-to-business (B2B) clients. 
  • The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Research and identify potential B2B clients in the food industry through various lead-generation strategies (internet research, social media, networking, social media, cold calling, industry events, and referrals).
  • Present and demonstrate products to potential clients, understanding their unique business needs and recommending tailored products.
  • Conduct in-depth consultations with prospective clients to assess their supply needs and potential product interests.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert knowledge on how our products can help them increase their business opportunities and sales
  • Lead negotiations with prospective clients, managing pricing, contract terms, and service agreements to ensure successful deal closures.
  • Drive the sales process from initial contact through to deal closure, ensuring a seamless transition for the client.
  • Oversee the ongoing needs and satisfaction of existing clients, proactively identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products/services.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client retention.
  • Maintain key client portfolios and manage the ongoing communication to continuously deliver up to and above client’s expectations
  • Proactively troubleshoot any logistical matters related to client orders.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer support, to ensure alignment with client goals and expectations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to strategize on business development initiatives and meet overall sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM software, tracking progress against targets.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, forecasting, and pipeline development for management.

Job Requirements

 

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong English language proficiency (both written and oral).
  • Proven experience as a B2B Account Executive, Business Development Executive, or similar sales role in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, lead generation, negotiation, and closing strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about client needs.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite and Goole Products
  • Experience in e-commerce business development
  • Experience in the food industry is a plus
  • Experience managing corporate Social Media accounts is a plus
