Job Description

• Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and coordinate cycle counts to verify stock levels.
• Analyze inventory variances and investigate discrepancies, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
• Prepare and maintain inventory-related journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory management processes.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes by providing accurate inventory data.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required inventory schedules and documentation.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and improve efficiency.
• Track and report on inventory turnover, slow-moving items, and obsolete stock.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies regarding inventory valuation.
