Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in 6th of October - Giza for an outside sales representative. The role involves:
- Prospecting and Territory Management: Lead Generation: Actively research, identify, and qualify new potential factory clients, manufacturing plants, and R&D departments within the assigned geographical territory that require laboratory, safety or testing equipment.
- Territory Planning: Develop and execute strategic territory plans to maximize sales efficiency, including scheduling regular visits and prioritizing high-potential accounts.
- Networking: Build professional relationships with key stakeholders, including Quality Managers, Production Engineers, Lab Directors, and Procurement Officers.
- Client Relationship Management and Consulting: Needs Assessment: Conduct in-depth discovery meetings with clients to fully understand their specific testing, quality control, and compliance needs, often requiring a basic understanding of their industrial processes.
- Solution Selling: Act as a technical consultant by recommending the appropriate laboratory equipment, custom solutions, or service contracts that directly address the client's operational challenges and regulatory requirements.
- Account Retention: Nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business, secure maintenance contracts, and facilitate equipment upgrades.
- Sales Execution and Negotiation: Product Demonstrations: Organize and conduct compelling, often technical, presentations and product demonstrations of laboratory instruments to client decision-makers.
- Forecasting: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts to management.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of the company's full portfolio of laboratory equipment, including specifications, technical advantages, and applications relevant to various factory environments (e.g., chemical, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals).
- Internal Collaboration and Reporting: Coordination: Liaise closely with internal teams, including Technical Support, Application Specialists, and Logistics, to ensure smooth equipment installation, training, and post-sales service.
- CRM Management: Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to log all activities, update client information, track sales opportunities, and document interactions.
- Feedback Loop: Communicate client feedback, market demands, and potential new product needs back to the marketing and R&D departments.
Qualifications
Education & Background
- Bachelor's degree required (B.S. highly preferred).
- Scientific or Engineering background (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field) is a significant advantage.
- Prior experience working in a laboratory or Quality Control (QC) environment is highly desirable.
Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of B2B outside sales experience.
- Proven track record selling technical products, capital equipment, or complex solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large sales territory and achieve ambitious quotas.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Consultative Selling: Excellent listening skills and ability to identify client needs and propose customized solutions.
