Project Leader:

The role drives project planning in the Plant, execution, and delivery while aligning cross-functional teams, customer requirements, and internal standards.

Project Planning

• Develop a comprehensive project plan with key work packages, milestones, and defined timelines

• Consolidate detailed production preparation plans into one PPP covering all trial builds and mass production activities

Team Management

• Build and lead the project team to secure collaboration and coordination

• Communicate customer requirements and ensure full adherence

• Maintain clear communication on project timing and deliverables

• Organize weekly cross-functional project meetings

• Interface with the BU on all project-related items

Stakeholder Engagement

• Identify stakeholders and manage expectations through timely and structured communication

Risk Management

• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans to protect project outcomes

Budgeting and Cost Control

• Develop and manage the project budget

• Monitor expenses and adjust plans to maintain cost control

Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with customer specifications

• Ensure application of all internal procedures, work standards, and EHS rules

Progress Monitoring

• Track progress against the project plan

• Identify deviations and implement corrective actions

Issue Resolution

• Address project issues and conflicts promptly

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare and maintain all project documentation and reports

• Lead the functional reviews within Yazaki GPMS scope

• Lead lesson-learned cycles to improve future performance

• Complete the monthly Launch Readiness Assessment

• Compile weekly 4M status with corrective actions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering

• PMP certification or equivalent preferred

• 4 to 6 years of experience

• Background in Change Management Coordination, Project Engineering, Project Coordination, or Project Leadership

• Professional English

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
