Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Web Developer. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web sites and applications, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. Key responsibilities include front-end and back-end development, writing well-structured code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine user experience. Continual troubleshooting and improving web performance will also be essential tasks for this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and deploy responsive websites and web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Convert UI/UX designs into functional, high-performance web interfaces.
• Maintain and enhance existing websites, identify bugs, and implement fixes.
• Integrate APIs, third-party services, and databases as required.
• Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Implement security best practices and protect against common vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver projects on schedule.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Monitor website performance and provide analytics-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies and recommend adoption when appropriate.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in website and web application development.
Strong knowledge of responsive design principles.
Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming
Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Design
Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress)
Knowledge of SEO principles, accessibility standards, and performance optimization.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Comprehensive knowledge of Web Development and its best practices
Ability to write clean, well-documented, and reusable code
Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing web performance
