JOB PURPOSE

To support the design, execution, and continuous improvement of Learning & Development strategies, programs, and processes across the organization. The role focuses on delivering impactful training solutions, enhancing employee capability development, supporting talent initiatives, and ensuring efficient administration of internal and external learning activities. The jobholder acts as a key partner to business units, ensuring learning interventions are aligned with organizational priorities and contribute to building a skilled, engaged, and future-ready workforce.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs for different business functions, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and L&D Strategy through TNA with maintaining good collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare accurate and timely L&D reports for top management, regulatory entities (e.g., CBE).
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, performance insights, and reporting.
  • The ability to present dashboard and L&D annual activities professionally
  • Handle summer and winter internship programs from planning to implementation, ensuring the quality of candidate selection and participant experience.
  • Build relationships with universities, Training Providers, partners, and internal stakeholders to enhance program visibility and output
  • The ability to deliver and facilitate training programs internally to onebank’s staff
  • Manage and update the organization’s e-learning portals (e.g., LinkedIn Learning), ensuring content quality, platform stability, and user support.
  • Launch and track e-learning campaigns; generate dashboards and analytics reports to measure engagement and completion rates.
  • Create and design technical development tracks or L&D Initiatives in line with Bank’s strategy.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Strong knowledge of Learning & Development methodologies, training cycle management, and competency-based development.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes including talent acquisition, onboarding, and HR analytics.
  • Proficiency in managing e-learning platforms (LinkedIn Learning or similar), training portals, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills; ability to translate data into insights.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, maintain accurate records, and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.


Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR-L&D
  • Preferably Banking Experience
  • Proven experience in managing training logistics, designing learning programs, conducting TNA, and supporting employee development initiatives.
  • Experience in managing internship programs, e-learning systems, and HR analytics reports for internal and regulatory stakeholders is a must
