Job Summary:
The General Ledger accountant will prepare journal entries, reconcile financial statements and accounts, and ensure data accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports.
- Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
- Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping.
- Conducting regular ledger closings
- Ensuring properly accounted transactions
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience.
- Fluent in English Language.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.
- Excellent user of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent user of ERP System.
