Job Summary:
The role is focusing on overseeing the management, support, and continuous improvement of governance-related IT applications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the operation, maintenance, and performance of governance applications.
- Implement system updates, patches, and new features to maintain compliance with regulations.
- Monitor application performance and resolve issues to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
- Ensure governance applications support compliance with internal policies and external regulations such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and industry-specific standards.
- Collaborate with compliance, risk, and audit teams to address governance requirements through application functionalities.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of governance applications to ensure alignment with governance frameworks.
- Identify and implement opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
- Oversee the integration of governance applications with other enterprise systems, such as ERP or core banking platforms.
- Work with stakeholders to customize applications to meet governance needs.
- Act as the liaison between governance-related business units (e.g., risk, compliance, audit) and the IT department.
- Collect and prioritize requirements from stakeholders to enhance application functionality.
- Provide regular updates and expert advice to senior management on governance application strategies and solutions.
- Serve as the escalation point for critical issues affecting governance applications.
- Oversee root cause analysis for recurring problems and implement long-term solutions.
- Document and track incidents to identify trends and improve response processes.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on governance, compliance, or risk management applications
