Your Role and Responsibilities


Intercom is looking for Business Automation Technical Sales Specialist who will be responsible for taking the Business Automation technical offering. This includes the coordination and successful execution of all assigned account manager within a territory or set of accounts to achieve assigned financial sales objectives. 


Working with and leveraging other Intercom sales teams to create demand, identify opportunities, qualify opportunities, and then directly executing high quality professional engagements that result in winning opportunities.

Build Relationships with key influencers and work with different stakeholders at client side to understand their Use-Cases and Business Strategy

Successful candidates will exceed assigned sales targets while providing high value customer solutions. 

Collaborate with technology vendors to identify the license/services requsirements, acquire quotations and negotiate prices 

Prepare and consolidate technical and financial responses to the customer’s RFPs and RFIs 

Deliver client sessions and present Intercom vision, value proposition, and technology.

Handle the sales cycle, qualification, how to sell and win strategies, and engagement best practices.

Tailor presentations to specific clients. Become a trusted advisor with delivery Solution Architects through advising on Software Solutions as well as presenting architectural visions for leveraging this technology in solutions.

Support clients in preparing RFI/RFP document.

Own the technical proposals documentation and preparation.

Attend partners’ webinars to keep up to date with products changes, roadmaps, market positioning.



Required Technical and Professional Expertise


3+ Years direct, face to face customer selling experience

2+ years selling Enterprise applications, Business Automation or and/or Enterprise Integration software

2 years’ minimum experience selling IT solutions into one of the following industries: Financial institutions, Governments, Telco operators, Oil & Gas or general business 

Functional competence across the Business Automation landscape

Strong understanding of the following verticals: Application Modernization, Integration, Rules Management, Business Process, Enterprise Content Management 

You are a hunter who takes ownership of an assigned portfolio focused on net new logo acquisition and upsell opportunities.

You demonstrate expertise in building business cases which clearly articulates value and differentiation at all levels of your customer organizations.

You are demonstrating a true “value based” sales approach and have experience explaining complex ROI models to C level customers.

You’re a pipeline generation master, expert in driving direct sales from first touch to close.

You’re an entrepreneur – who likes to run a business and know that owning your own pipeline generation is fundamental to your success.
