Position Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Video Editor with a strong creative eye and hands-on experience in editing high-quality social media and branding videos.

You’ll transform raw footage into captivating stories that engage audiences and elevate brands — merging creativity, research-driven strategy, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

🎞 Creative Editing & Storytelling

• Interpret campaign briefs and brand guidelines to craft engaging narratives.
• Conduct research on audience behavior and competitor trends to shape editing style and pacing.

📱 Social Media Optimization

• Edit and format content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Add motion graphics, subtitles, and branding elements to maximize engagement.

🎨 Branding & Visual Consistency

• Apply brand identity elements — logos, typography, and color grading — consistently.
• Collaborate with Graphic and UX teams for seamless visual alignment.

⚙️ Technical Excellence

• Manage the entire post-production workflow (editing, color, audio, exports).
• Ensure all deliverables meet technical specs for web and broadcast.

🤝 Collaboration & Feedback

• Work closely with creative leads and strategists.
• Present drafts, adapt quickly to feedback, and meet tight deadlines with precision.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years editing social media & branding videos (agency or in-house).
• Software Expertise: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve.
• Analytical Skill: Ability to study engagement metrics & competitor styles.
• Creative Edge: Excellent timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Technical Knowledge: Codecs, compression, audio design.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, organization, and feedback handling.

Preferred

• Familiarity with scriptwriting and storyboarding.
• Working proficiency in both Arabic & English for subtitle accuracy.

Tools & Platforms

• Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition)
• DaVinci Resolve
• Frame.io or similar review platforms
• Adobe Media Encoder
• Basic use of Hootsuite / Later for video scheduling
