Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze monthly balance sheet, income statement and any changes in the financial position/budget to track the financial status.
- Research and resolve inquiries from the business lines.
- Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting, and analyze the results of the business against historical, budgeted and forecasted data to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.
- Develop and maintain various financial models and standard templates for use by the team during the planning process.
- Use a set of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts to provide forecasts, to provide practical counsel to business area and management to drive business results.
- Assist in the implementation and integration of new business processes, projects and the related technology to identify, configure, and communicate useful information to drive the business decision making process in coordination with the Finance team and Business Managers.
- Identify outdated processes and procedures with the department and work on developing and updating them.
- Prepare financial reports, charts, tables, etc. as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations as required in the conduct of the role.
- Ensure timely completion of all relevant AML/CTF training provided by the Group.
- Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Economics.
- 0 – 1 years experience in a similar role.
- Good financial analysis and modeling skills.
- Good numerical skills.
- Strong data gathering and data analysis skills.
- Excellent computer skills (Proficient in Excel).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
- Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.
- Can identify problems and refer/escalate complex issues to a higher level.
- Detail oriented; ensure deliverables are always of a high quality.
- Multi-tasker, with the ability to meet changing deadlines.
- Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and maintains a positive attitude.
