Job Description

The UPEI at Universities of Canada is seeking for enthusiastic and results-oriented Educational Student Recruitment Specialists to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in attracting and enrolling top-tier students to our university. You will develop and implement creative recruitment strategies, connect with prospective students, and ensure they have a positive experience throughout the application process.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment plans for assigned regions or student demographics.
  • Conduct research to identify potential student populations and develop targeted outreach strategies.
  • Attend college and career fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events to promote the University and its programs.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to prospective students and their families on academic programs, admissions requirements, and scholarships.
  • Manage and respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and guidance counsellors regarding admissions, programs, and campus life.
  • Maintain and build positive relationships with high school counsellors, community partners, and other educational professionals.
  • Assist with the development of recruitment materials, including brochures, presentations.
  • Track and analyze recruitment data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the overall recruitment goals and objectives of the University.
     

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field, such as Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in student recruitment or a similar field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
