Lin Scan is looking for a highly motivated Account Manager (ILI services) to improve the organizations market position and achieve financial growth. This person defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Success requires consultative, solutions-oriented sales, and customer service skills in addition to intense personal energy and focused activity. A critical factor of achievement in this role is the ability and desire to identify opportunities to improve client programs and grow revenue. Candidate must be comfortable selling to obtain new business or upgrade existing business.
Position Functions/Responsibilities include:
Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Prepare reports on account status
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Deliver the necessary presentation to new clients to improve PIPECAREs market position and achieve financial growth.
Collaborate closely with different PIPECARE departments to ensure the smooth delivery of services to the market and meeting customer needs.
Maintain an up to date knowledge of all current and future regulations and legislation pertaining to the pipeline industry and trends.
Assist technical sales engineers in obtaining necessary information from the Client and assisting in smooth contract transfer to Operations.
Ensure timely updates of necessary reports are properly reflected in the Corporate EMS system: create inquiries timely; follow the sales flow chart while bidding for a job; transfer the project timely after PIPECARE confirms the order to the client; updating the forecast by the end of each month; update the status of the project regularly. Arrange provisional transfer to Projects if deemed required by taking approval from MD.
Support territory in project closures, when necessary.
Supporting colleagues within other territories if and when necessary, contributing to Group activity and occasionally covering for them during periods of absence.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience within the ILI market.
Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role.
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience within the Oil and Gas sector.
Existing executive-level contacts at one or more target operators.
Good presentation skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, Strong interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Ability to travel extensively.
BS degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience/exposure with sound commercial skills.
