Job Description
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure optimal stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize stock loss, damage, and obsolescence.
- Prepare and submit detailed inventory reports, highlighting trends, shortages, and excesses to management.
- Oversee the organization and labeling of stock within the warehouse to ensure efficient retrieval and storage.
- Assist in the development and improvement of inventory management systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to stock handling.
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances, reporting findings and corrective actions taken.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory data and documentation.
