The Electrician reports to the Electrical Engineer.As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the following duties:Attends to electrical systems operation and maintenance work as requiredCarries out equipment preventive and routine maintenanceResponds to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes of receipt of the sameEnsures that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repairAlways maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering a guestroom or public areaEnsures that the workshop and related areas are kept clean and tidy conditionObserves prescribed safety standards. Helps maintain safe conditions for self and othersPerforms related duties and special projects as assigned.Interacts with other Departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions and festivitiesInteracts with other departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized technical supportFollow Supervisors instructions in line with job requirementsAdhere to all security and safety instructionsDemonstrate commitment to uncompromising standards of excellenceWork as a team with all other departments in their effort to delight the guestShow respect for guest’s security and privacy at all timesCommunicate effectively to ensure service excellence at all timesEnsure requests are followed through to the guest’s satisfactionDisplay a sense of determination when solving problemsCreate moments of emotional value for the guestLook for creative service deliveryReady to work in shifts and do overtime as per work requirementsAs An Electrician, We Expect From YouPrevious experience in the same role in luxury property, resort experience is a plusDiploma / ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certificate in Electrical or equivalent technical qualificationStrong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and safety proceduresAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manualsFamiliarity with hotel engineering operations and preventive maintenance systemsGood communication skills and ability to work in a guest-oriented environmentOur commitment to you Learning & Development.
