A leading Enterprise Software company based in Saudi Arabia is looking for L1 Support Engineers to join its growing team to be based in Egypt.



Work Model: Remote/Saudi Arabia



Responsibilities:

• Providing software application support under the supervision of the Senior Engineer.

• Respond to incoming technical support tickets and emails in an effective and efficient manner

with prioritizing multiple open issues.

• Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications. Linux SOL

• Perform system health checks and update the status to the team and customer if required

• Troubleshoot, investigate and analyze customer problems/issues, walk through step-by-step

resolution procedures

• Timely escalate issues to the next level or vendor after investigation and manage escalations with customer.

• Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.

• Documenting, maintaining and updating technical documents, processes and monitoring

application performance metrics.

• Perform other tasks as assigned

• Available to work in shifts

• Flexibility in accepting any new system by management to work and monitor with the team as

needed



Education & Certificates:


• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent

• ITIL Foundation certificate is preferred.



Skills:

They are mainly looking for hands-on experience or, at minimum, solid foundational knowledge in some of the following areas:

Big Data Technologies: Apache Spark, Spark SQL, Hive, HBase

Streaming & Messaging: Apache Kafka

Big Data Platforms: Cloudera

Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift

Databases: SQL and NoSQL databases

Programming Languages: Python, Java, or Scala

Data Engineering Concepts: ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data modeling

Linux Environment: Linux commands, shell scripting, and working in Unix-based environments

Verbal and written communication.

Excellent multitasking skills.

Customer service.

Diagnostics.
