Position Details:

Job Title:#Senior_Structural_Design_Engineer

Employment Type: Full-Time

📍 Location: Head Office, Nasr City.

Key Responsibilities:

☑ Structural System Design & Documentation:

-Develop detailed design drawings, structural calculations, and technical reports for buildings and infrastructure projects (e.g., concrete, steel structures, foundations).

-Prepare general arrangements, reinforcement detailing, and construction documentation.

☑ Code & Standard Compliance:

-Ensure all designs comply with national and international structural codes (e.g., SBC, ACI, BS, ASCE, IBC).

-Stay updated on local authority regulations and industry standards.

☑ Client & Project Team Coordination:

-Collaborate with clients, architects, MEP, and civil teams to integrate structural systems into overall project design.

-Attend design coordination and client meetings.

☑ Project Lifecycle Involvement:

-Participate in all design stages—concept, schematic, design development, and construction documentation.

-Support tendering process through BOQ preparation, technical evaluations, and vendor reviews.

☑ Technical Review & QA/QC:

-Review drawings and documentation for quality and technical accuracy.

-Lead or assist in peer reviews and quality control processes.

#Qualifications & #Requirements:

☑ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

☑ Experience: 6–8 years of experience in Structural Design at a Consulting Engineering Co is a must.

☑ Strong knowledge of #SBC Code

☑ Proven track record of designing structural systems for various building types (e.g., residential, commercial, institutional, or industrial).

#Software_Proficiency:

☑ AutoCAD, Revit Structure (highly preferred)

☑ ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro

☑ MS Office and project tracking tools
