Job Description

Financial Reporting & Compliance

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations

Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws (VAT, income tax, withholding tax)

Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings

Costing, Inventory & Manufacturing Finance

Oversee product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis

Control raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory valuation

Monitor yield, waste, and production losses in food manufacturing

Ensure proper provisioning for slow-moving and obsolete inventory

Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead annual budget and rolling forecast processes

Analyze variances versus budget and prior periods

Provide profitability analysis by product, SKU, and customer

Working Capital & Cash Flow

Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning

Control receivables, payables, and inventory days

Support credit policies and customer collection processes

Commercial & Trade Spend Control

Review and control trade promotions, discounts, and customer rebates

Ensure accurate accruals for sales incentives and promotional spend

Support pricing decisions and margin improvement initiatives

Systems, Controls & Team Leadership

Maintain strong internal controls across finance and operations

Improve finance processes and ERP utilization

Lead, coach, and develop the finance team

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • 8 –10 years’ experience in finance, preferably within FMCG or consumer goods
  • Strong experience with inventory accounting and high-volume transactions
  • Proven track record of managing audits and financial controls
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commercial mindset with ability to partner cross-functionally
  • Advanced Excel and ERP system experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and leadership skills
