Health & Safety Engineer (HSE Engineer)

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Safety, Civil, Industrial, or related field)
• Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers
• OSHA Certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Health & Safety / HSE roles
• Strong knowledge of Saudi safety regulations and international HSE standards

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards, Civil Defense regulations, and approved safety requirements
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards
• Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
• Deliver HSE training and safety inductions for employees and workers
• Monitor the proper use and condition of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Prepare and maintain emergency response and evacuation plans
• Coordinate with government authorities when required
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation

• Ability to prepare professional technical reports
• Capable of working under pressure and in site-based environments
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
