Role Description This is an on-site, full-time role based in Cairo, Egypt, for a Lifting Planner, Inspector, & Risk Assessor. The role includes developing and implementing comprehensive lifting plans, conducting inspections of lifting equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The individual will perform risk assessments related to lifting operations, provide technical guidance to teams, and prepare detailed reports. The role will require close collaboration with project managers, operators, and safety officers to implement efficient and safe procedures.
Job Title:Lifting Planner, Inspector & Risk Assessor Qualifications and Essential Requirements:Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, or equivalent). Experience: 3-5 years in inspection and planning of lifting operations.
Required :echnical Certifications:APLO or LCP certification. LEEA certification (Parts 2-4-8 complete) or equivalent NSL certification. ASNT Level 2 certification in the five methods: (MT, PT, VT, UT, RT).
Responsibilities:Preparing and reviewing complex and routine lifting plans. Conducting risk assessments for all site operations. Performing periodic technical inspections of cranes and all lifting equipment to ensure compliance with specifications. Performing NDT tests to ensure the structural integrity of equipment.
