Job description
Our Client: is a leading local FMCG distributor in Oman, representing renowned brands across food, beverage, and retail categories.
Your Role: As a Sales Executive for Modern Trade, you will be responsible for managing key retail accounts, driving sales targets, ensuring brand visibility, and executing trade marketing initiatives in line with company objectives. The role requires strong commercial acumen, market understanding, and the ability to build and sustain relationships with major modern trade retailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow assigned modern trade accounts in Oman (hypermarkets, supermarkets, chain retailers).
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Plan and execute in-store promotions and activations.
- Monitor stock levels, shelf availability, and merchandising standards.
- Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis.
- Build strong relationships with key store managers and decision-makers.
- Prepare sales reports and share actionable insights with management.
Skills
Requirements
- 3–5 years of sales experience in Modern Trade within the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of the GCC retail landscape; Oman market experience is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Valid GCC driving license (Omani license not mandatory if transferable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM tools.
