Job Description

Our client, a well-established FMCG company, is looking to hire a Traditional Trade Executive to manage and grow their retail business in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have experience working with traditional trade channels and a strong understanding of the local wholesale and grocery market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with traditional trade partners (wholesalers, groceries, baqalas, and independent retailers)
  • Achieve sales targets and expand product reach in assigned territories
  • Ensure regular order bookings, timely deliveries, and stock availability at retail points
  • Implement and monitor promotions, trade offers, and merchandising standards
  • Track market feedback, pricing trends, and competitor activities
  • Coordinate with the distribution team to ensure smooth supply chain operations



Skills

Key Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in traditional trade sales within the FMCG commodities space
  • Good network of retailers and wholesalers, especially in UAE local markets
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Familiar with route planning, sales reporting, and market execution
  • UAE driving license is a must
