- The role of the Solar Energy Engineer is to work as a member of the Powergreen Engineering team to design and implement reliable Solar Energy PV systems according to project requirements.
- This is a customer-facing position that involves relationship building and client management.
- This is a project oriented job that requires experience in the discipline of project management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build trust and rapport with prospective customers.
- Design compelling Photovoltaic Systems including analysis, calculations, research, selection and layout.
- Project Management
- Draft proposals that match project specifications.
- Generate performance reports for implemented projects and specify upgrades when necessary.
- Oversee project execution to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in engineering, preferably electrical
- Master’s degree would be a plus
- Excellent knowledge and expertise in Photovoltaic systems and the related design tools as PV Syst, Sketchup, PV Sol, and Autocad
- General knowledge of Solar Thermal Water Heating Systems is a plus
- Construction training and experience is preferred
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Works well in a collaborative environment
