Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead and oversee daily operations at our café. The ideal candidate must have at least 4 to 5 years of experience managing a café, restaurant, or similar food service setup, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Memorize all products and descriptions, understand dietary labels and be able to recommend to customers correct products based on accurate knowledge. A written exam will be given to test the applicant's ability to comprehend easily our products.
- Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
- Lead, train, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for orders
- Prepare staff schedules, manage labor costs, and ensure adequate coverage
- Monitor financial performance including sales, expenses, and profitability
- Implement marketing and promotional initiatives to boost customer traffic
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Skills
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of managerial experience in a café, restaurant, or similar environment
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Sound understanding of restaurant operations, inventory, and cost control
- Proficient in using POS systems and restaurant management software
