Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Manager to lead the configuration, management, and security of our network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise-level network architecture, bandwidth optimization, and cybersecurity protocols.

The role also involves managing WAN connectivity between global offices and implementing IT governance policies, including Microsoft SharePoint management.

Key Responsibilities: Network Infrastructure & Configuration:

• Configure and manage Layer 2/3 managed switches, including VLANs, trunking, and port-based access controls.
• Deploy and optimize enterprise-grade wireless access points (APs) for secure and high[1]performance connectivity.
• Install, configure, and maintain firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco, or similar) to regulate inbound/outbound traffic and enforce network perimeter security.
• Bandwidth Management & WAN & Inter-Office Connectivity.
• Design and enforce bandwidth allocation policies based on user roles and service-level requirements.
• Implement multi-WAN load balancing to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal use of internet resources.
• Set up, secure, and monitor WAN links for seamless communication with international branch offices.
• Configure VPN tunnels or dedicated leased lines to ensure secure and consistent inter[1]office data exchange. Network Security & Segmentation.
• Design and maintain network segmentation to isolate sensitive systems and limit lateral threat movement.
• Configure Access Control Lists (ACLs), Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and secure VPN access.
• Enforce firewall zoning, secure switch management, and proactive defenses against internal and external threats. Internet Access & Usage Policy Enforcement:
• Develop and implement internet usage policies leveraging firewall rules, content filtering, and traffic logging.
• Monitor and restrict access to non-essential or unauthorized websites, services, and applications in line with company policy. Microsoft SharePoint Governance.
• Define and manage SharePoint policies, site permissions, content access levels, and compliance rules.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure secure document management and collaboration through Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online.
• Leadership & Office IT Operations (Dubai & Abu Dhabi):
• Lead and supervise a team of IT support and network professionals, ensuring task alignment and performance efficiency.
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations for the Dubai & Abu Dhabi office, ensuring smooth service delivery, security compliance, and infrastructure scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to support business continuity and technology-driven growth.
• Drive initiatives to improve IT service quality, team development, and knowledge[1]sharing across departments.
• & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and IT infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of firewall systems, VLANs, bandwidth management, and Microsoft SharePoint administration.
• Experience with Cisco, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, or equivalent enterprise-grade networking solutions.
• Proficient in network monitoring tools and security best practices.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE, or Microsoft certifications are a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting, project management, and documentation skills

1. Technical Expertise

• Advanced knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking (VLANs, trunking, port security).
• Firewall configuration and management (Fortinet, Cisco, etc.).
• Enterprise-grade wireless access point deployment (Ubiquiti, Cisco, Aruba).
• VPN setup and secure WAN connectivity (including MPLS, IPSec tunnels, or leased lines).

• Bandwidth management and traffic shaping techniques.

2. Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Proficient in firewall zoning, IDS/IPS, and threat prevention tools.
• Strong understanding of network access control and endpoint security policies.
• Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and policy enforcement.

3. Microsoft SharePoint & Cloud Services

• Microsoft SharePoint administration skills, including permissions, content governance, and compliance rules.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and collaboration tools.

4. IT Leadership & Team Management

• Proven ability to lead IT support/networking teams across multiple locations.
• Strong people management, delegation, and mentoring abilities.
• Experience handling IT operations across multiple offices or remote branches.

5. Project & Vendor Management

• Skilled in planning and executing IT infrastructure projects (e.g., network upgrades, rollouts).
• Ability to evaluate and manage third-party vendors and service providers.

6. Problem Solving & Troubleshooting

• Exceptional diagnostic skills for resolving network, security, and system performance issues.
• Strong analytical thinking to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.

7. Communication & Documentation

• Clear verbal and written communication for interacting with stakeholders and documenting technical processes.
• Ability to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences (e.g., business teams).

8. Tools & Platforms

• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice).
• Comfortable with IT asset management platforms.

9. Certifications & Continued Learning (Preferred)

• Cisco (CCNA / CCNP), Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Network+ / Security+, or Microsoft Certified credentials.
• Commitment to staying updated with emerging technologies and security trends.
