Job summary

GK International is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer for a 6-month contract in Dubai, with potential for extension. This role focuses on offshore engineering design for various support systems, offering exposure to international projects and collaboration with experienced teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 3D modeling in SP3D for ceiling, wall, and floor support systems
• Perform 2D detailing for structural layouts, including UNISTRUT systems and cable tray supports
• Integrate TEKLA/IFS models into SP3Dcompatible formats for project execution
• Review engineering specs, resolve technical challenges, and ensure compliance with design requirements
• Prepare documentation and deliverables, participate in technical meetings, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
• 58 years of SP3D modeling experience, particularly in offshore or LER support systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SP3D, and 2D layout tools; familiarity with TEKLA, Navisworks, or PDS is a bonus
• Knowledge of offshore module design standards and UNISTRUT support structures
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Proficient in English (spoken and written)
