Job Description

Job Summary:

For a well-reputed industrial company, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and oversee procurement activities in the areas of the company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost control, with a proven ability to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.



Key Responsibilities:


1. Sourcing & Supplier Management

  Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers.

  Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships.

  Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure favorable terms.


2. Procurement Planning

  Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  Forecast demand and manage procurement budgets effectively.


3. Contract Negotiation

  Negotiate contracts in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

  Ensure clarity in terms, pricing, and service level agreements.


4. Order Management

  Manage the end-to-end purchase order process.

  Track and ensure timely, accurate delivery of materials and services.


5. Vendor Performance Management

  Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.

  Address and resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.


6. Cost Management

  Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement efficiencies.

  Maintain a balance between cost-effectiveness and quality.


Skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  •   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  •   Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the electromechanical or industrial sectors.
  •   Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus.
  •   Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software (SAP experience is highly desirable).
  •   Leadership ability to manage teams and coordinate procurement activities effectively.
  •   Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex situations and develop actionable solutions.
  •   Solid knowledge of procurement regulations and legal compliance requirements.
