Overview of the Role

We are looking for a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the technical aspects of the product or vehicle are up to date and for fixing problems correctly the first time.

What You Will Do

• Carry out service and checks during service for trouble-free operation
• Replace brake pads, bellows, belts, and pulleys
• Identify potential problem causes while attending jobs both in the workshop and in the field
• Maintain communication by explaining the work done to the Foreman or Service Advisor
• Use tools and adopt best practices as mentioned in service manuals to improve productivity and efficiency
• Read, understand, and implement instructions in workshop manuals and use service checklists where applicable

Skills

Required Skills to Be Successful

• Basic/Technical education and/or apprenticeship
• Trade certificate or diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
• Proven technical expertise in independently performing service, repairs, and component overhauls
• 4 to 5 years of experience working on heavy commercial vehicles
• UAE driving license is an advantage
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
