Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance.
- Ensure cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and favorable terms.
- Monitor compliance with hotel procurement policies and industry guidelines.
- Coordinate with user departments to ensure timely supply of requested materials.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate stock levels through regular audits.
- Supervise receiving, storing, and issuing goods according to established procedures.
- Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and meet hygiene and safety standards.
- Manage slow-moving or obsolete inventory and suggest corrective actions.
- Properly document all transactions using the Materials Control System (MC).
Financial Oversight:
- Collaborate with the Finance Department on budgeting and monthly cost reporting.
- Monitor purchase costs and report on variances.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement procurement efficiencies.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure proper recording, verification, and filing of documentation (LPOs, delivery notes, invoices).
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and procurement.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management.
- Implement an ethical approach with suppliers and engage customers of Accor-branded hotels.
