Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance.
  • Ensure cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and favorable terms.
  • Monitor compliance with hotel procurement policies and industry guidelines.
  • Coordinate with user departments to ensure timely supply of requested materials.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate stock levels through regular audits.
  • Supervise receiving, storing, and issuing goods according to established procedures.
  • Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and meet hygiene and safety standards.
  • Manage slow-moving or obsolete inventory and suggest corrective actions.
  • Properly document all transactions using the Materials Control System (MC).

Financial Oversight:

  • Collaborate with the Finance Department on budgeting and monthly cost reporting.
  • Monitor purchase costs and report on variances.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement procurement efficiencies.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure proper recording, verification, and filing of documentation (LPOs, delivery notes, invoices).
  • Support internal and external audits related to inventory and procurement.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management.
  • Implement an ethical approach with suppliers and engage customers of Accor-branded hotels.
