About the role:

The Technician – Painting is responsible for carrying out high-quality paintwork on vehicles in line with manufacturer and company standards. The role ensures proper surface preparation, colour matching, and finishing to restore vehicles to their original appearance. It also involves maintaining tools, equipment, and a safe working environment while delivering excellent craftsmanship to meet customer satisfaction.

Main Job Functions:

•    Carry out painting works as per manufacturer’s standard in line with work instructions manual.
•    F1 – Fix it Right First Time
•    Completion of job within allotted time
•    Feedback on additional repairs to Team Leader, Foreman and Controller 
•    Inform in advance about the delay in work to Team Leader /Foreman
•    Must carry out over time whenever the workshop load increases as per Team Leader /Foreman/Controller’s request.
•    BS materials recording on Job Card
•    Handling of customer’s vehicle in a safely manner
•    Recording the paint material drawn on the job card.
•    Inform/obtain approval from Team Leader /Foreman for additional repairs.
•    Ensure to use protective covers for customer vehicles
•    Cleanliness of work area
•    Usage of protective mask during paint repairs
•    Ensure that materials drawn on job cards are used for respective vehicle
