We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Engineer to develop, implement, and manage HSE programs and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and international best practices. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment across all operations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local laws, international standards, and company requirements.
- Lead and manage workplace safety initiatives, including fire safety systems, occupational health programs, and hazard control measures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement preventive measures.
- Organize and conduct HSE training sessions, including fire safety, first aid, emergency response, and occupational health awareness.
- Facilitate and conduct weekly safety meetings with staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering codes, HSE practices, and industry standards.
- Maintain proper documentation of all HSE activities, reports, and certifications.
- Collaborate with project teams and management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
