Job Purpose :

Provide backup plans and policies covering all bank systems and services hand to hand with application owner and system administrators to ensure all bank’s servers, DB, system and application are in backup scope.

Ensure data backup requirements and all backups are taken for all operational systems as prescribed, and the ability to restore data in the event of emergency.

Storage administrations and management for all centralized storage technologies.


Role and Responsibilities:

Storage and Backup management:

  • Administrate on cloud storage services, cloud computing in storage environment, cloud backups and replication.
  • Manage hosts storage (SAN,NAS, iSCSI), Manage templates and clusters, and configure HA.
  • Maintain and upgrade used technology in storage infrastructure when needed.
  • Manage storage and backup teams to apply banks requirements and reduce IT expenses.

Service Support Leadership:

  • Establish and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure consistent and reliable support services.
  • Implement and refine ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and user satisfaction.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for IT infrastructure and support services that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Assess current and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Manage IT budgets, forecasting costs, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand and meet their infrastructure and support requirements.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Ensure the security and compliance of IT systems with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigating strategies.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of infrastructure engineers, system administrators, and support staff.
  • Promote professional development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.


Job Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:
