A recruiter for hard services is responsible for finding and hiring qualified candidates for roles related to building maintenance and facilities management, such as engineers, technicians, and facility managers. Their tasks include understanding the technical requirements of these roles, sourcing candidates with specific skills, screening and interviewing them, and negotiating offers to ensure a good match between the candidate and the organization's needs.
Key responsibilities of a hard services recruiter:
- Sourcing candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Identifying and attracting candidates for specialized hard services roles, including Maintenance Mangers , Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians, Technical helpers/ handyman
- Reviewing resumes and conducting interviews and written tests to assess technical skills, experience, and qualifications relevant to hard services positions.
- Working closely with hiring managers and facility management teams to understand their technical requirements and find the right candidates.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
- Negotiating salary and benefits to secure the best talent.
- Guiding new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
- Provide regular reports on recruitment activities and progress.
