Power Supply Overall Construction Manager

Colas Rail Egypt – Abo Qir, Alexandria Project

Colas Rail Egypt is seeking an experienced Power Supply Overall Construction Manager to join our team for the Abo Qir railway project in Alexandria.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all power supply construction activities for the Abo Qir railway project
• Manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
• Monitor progress, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to address technical challenges promptly
• Control project schedules, costs, and resources related to the power supply construction scope
• Ensure all work meets Colas Rail’s technical specifications and industry best practices
• Liaise with client representatives and regulatory authorities as needed
  
  

Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of solid experience in power supply construction management within the railway industry
• Proven track record managing complex infrastructure projects, preferably railways
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and direct diverse teams
• Excellent knowledge of electrical power systems related to railways, including traction power supply, substations, and overhead lines
• Familiarity with local Egyptian construction codes, health and safety standards
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Effective communication and reporting skills in English
• Willingness to be based at Abo Qir project site in Alexandria
