Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Electrical Engineer Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and reviewing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical. Knowledge of additional design platforms such as EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar tools will be considered a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and review electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanical and control teams to integrate electrical designs into overall system architecture.
• Develop BOMs (Bill of Materials), cable schedules, and technical documentation for projects.
• Support project engineers in troubleshooting design issues during implementation and commissioning.
• Maintain accurate records of revisions and updates in accordance with project management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Designer/Engineer with strong skills in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Good understanding of electrical standards, panel design, and control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred / Plus Skills

• Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 (preferred).
• Experience with SolidWorks Electrical, ETAP, or similar electrical design software.
• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA systems, or automation standards.
• Familiarity with international electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC, etc.).
