Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations such as inbound raw materials, production coordination, outbound deliveries, and export documentation. The role requires hands-on operational management, team leadership, and deep familiarity with local and international shipping procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate daily dispatches of drums (bulk and finished goods) to local customers.Manage inbound shipments of raw materials (paints, steel, fittings) ensuring timely arrival and storage.Coordinate with production, sales, and procurement teams for delivery scheduling and inventory alignment.Supervise a team of drivers, warehouse assistants, and loaders, ensuring smooth warehouse and yard operations.Monitor fleet availability, maintenance, and trip planning to ensure on-time deliveries.Ensure all drums are delivered clean, rust-free, and compliant with customer specifications.Prepare and verify shipping and customs documentation (delivery notes, packing lists, commercial invoices).Oversee stock movement, bin card updates, and system entries.Ensure compliance with local transport, HSE, and port regulations.Troubleshoot delivery delays, transport breakdowns, and customer complaints.Maintain records of logistics metrics, fuel usage, turnaround times, and transport costsIdeal Candidate Profile Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, and warehouse management. Prior experience in a manufacturing setup (drum/packaging industry preferred). Good command over documentation and shipment planning. Strong leadership and communication skills.
