Main job duties and responsibilities:

• Leading structural team in collaboration with head of department.
• Responsible for development and growth of design team.
• Preparing the plan for his/her team.
• Responsible for structural design and engineering solutions.
• Check all project drawings, calculations, and design criteria.
• Follow up the work of the team.
• Coordination and attending meetings with other trades.
• Deliver structural engineering in line with project requirements, agreed engineering standards, and the relevant statutory requirements.
• Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the main frame of the job’s specialty

Job requirements:

Educational background and previous experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering.
• Min 10 years of experience in this field.

Knowledge and Functional Skills:

• Technical knowledge of structural engineering of building types, concrete and steel structure.
• High knowledge in structural software; especially CSI programs (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000) and AutoCAD.
• Experience in leading a Civil/Structural Engineering design team.
• Very good command of written and spoken English.
