Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SWIFT Administrator to join our banking technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the bank’s SWIFT infrastructure, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant financial messaging across all payment channels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage SWIFT Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, and related components.
  • Handle message management and administration for MT, CBPR+, ISO20022, and RTGS message formats.
  • Configure and troubleshoot HSM, STP, and VPN connections for all SWIFT interfaces.
  • Implement and maintain Alliance Security packages, ensuring compliance with the SWIFT Customer Security Programme (CSP).
  • Manage software installations, upgrades, and security patching of SWIFT systems.
  • Monitor system performance and perform regular housekeeping and backup activities to ensure system stability.
  • Provide technical support, root cause analysis, and incident resolution for SWIFT Alliance products.
  • Support integration and development for SWIFT APIs and IBM MQ within core banking systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Network, and Security teams to maintain end-to-end system performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and audits.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing SWIFT Alliance Access / Gateway in the banking sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows and AIX operating systems.
  • Understanding of financial messaging standards (MT, CBPR+, ISO20022, RTGS).
  • Practical experience with HSM, VPN, and network troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with database management and network infrastructure concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
