Job Description

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures to mitigate future risks.
• Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to employees, contractors, and stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive HSE documentation, including reports, records, and permits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE best practices into daily operations and project planning.
• Monitor and report on environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, and resource usage.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety systems across all work sites.
• Stay updated on emerging HSE regulations, technologies, and industry trends to continuously improve safety standards.
• Support emergency response planning and participate in drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in HSE roles, preferably within the oil, petroleum, or industrial sectors.
• Familiarity with local and international HSE regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively deliver training and collaborate with teams.
• Ability to work independently and remotely (home-based arrangement) while managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in preparing HSE reports, documentation, and compliance records.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices and continuous professional development.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety issues.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations, technologies, and operational requirements.
• Fluent in English.
