Job Title: Technical Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

The Technical Civil Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support throughout the design, planning, and execution phases of civil construction projects. This role ensures that all technical aspects of the project are compliant with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:1. Design and Planning

• Review and interpret project drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Assist in preparing design calculations, structural layouts, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients to finalize designs and resolve technical issues.

2. Project Execution & Supervision

• Provide on-site technical guidance to construction teams.
• Ensure that work is executed in accordance with approved designs, materials, and methods.
• Monitor daily progress and report deviations or potential issues to the Project Manager.

3. Quality & Compliance

• Conduct inspections and quality checks for civil and structural works.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering codes, and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as inspection reports, test results, and as-built drawings.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with subcontractors, surveyors, and other engineers for project alignment.
• Support procurement by reviewing and approving materials and suppliers.
• Participate in project meetings to provide technical input and progress updates.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare technical reports, design review notes, and work progress summaries.
• Maintain updated project records and ensure proper documentation for approvals and audits.
• Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Certifications: Membership or accreditation from a professional engineering body (e.g., Saudi Council of Engineers, if applicable).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis software.
• Understanding of local building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
