Job Title: Security Officer

Department: Administration / Plant Operations

Division: Platinum Industries Ltd

Location: Egypt

Reports To: Plant Head

Purpose

Ensure the safety of people, property, and materials inside the plant. Supervise daily security operations and enforce company safety rules.

Main Responsibilities

Oversee all plant security activities and staff.

Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles.

Coordinate with external security agencies for guard deployment.

Monitor CCTV, fire alarms, and access control systems.

Conduct regular patrols, audits, and emergency drills.

Investigate incidents and prepare security reports.

Work with safety and EHS teams to follow company standards.

Maintain contact with police and local authorities when needed.

Ensure discipline, attendance, and good performance of security staff.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in plant or facility security

Bachelor’s degree (Security Management, Administration, or related field)
