Job Title: IT Manager

Role Type :- Permanent

Location :- Kuwait

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT infrastructure, business applications, and digital transformation initiatives across multiple companies. Ensures that systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with operational needs, while managing relationships between internal departments and external technical service providers. Leads technology projects, ERP management, and process automation to improve efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems Administration

SLA: EEMC (managed services for network & infrastructure)Excludes port & cable labelling. Manage and maintain virtual environments using VMware, including provisioning, monitoring, and optimizing virtual servers.

Oversee Veeam backup and replication to ensure data protection and disaster recovery readiness.

Administer Avaya telephony systems, ensuring seamless voice communication and integration with IT infrastructure (SLA with Viacomms).

Handle Microsoft 365 (M365) services administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and licensing management.

Manage Active Directory (AD) — including user provisioning, group policies, and role-based access control.

Perform regular EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) updates, patch management, and endpoint security monitoring.

Ensure consistent patching, version control, and compliance across servers, applications, and endpoints.

Managing low voltage devices + applications.

Business Applications & Data Management

Administer Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, overseeing module configurations, user access, integrations, and performance tuning. (SLA 2: EEMC, AX team)

Manage SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) — performing data queries, backups, and troubleshooting database performance.

Lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of business reports and dashboards through Power BI, Excel, and SQL-based solutions.

Support and maintain SharePoint sites and document libraries, ensuring proper access control, metadata organization, and collaboration efficiency (SLA: Innomick Technologies, India based).

Project & Operations Management

Serve as the primary coordinator between operational teams and external IT service providers, ensuring technical solutions meet business requirements and service levels.

Lead implementation projects for new software, infrastructure upgrades, and ERP enhancements.

Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to streamline workflows and automate manual processes.

Oversee IT budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.

Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data governance frameworks.

CRM, ERP, and Reporting

Manage systems integrations, and user adoption across departments.

Design and implement ERP-related process improvements within Dynamics AX to align with company operations (Finance, Inventory, etc.).

Develop analytical dashboards and performance reports to support decision-making across management levels (trial testing AI BI METADATA).

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware), backup and recovery (Veeam), and telephony (Avaya).

Expertise in Microsoft ecosystem: M365, SharePoint, Power BI, AD, and Dynamics AX 2012.

Proficiency in SQL (SSMS) for database management and reporting.

Solid understanding of EDR tools, patch management, and cybersecurity principles.

Excellent communication skills — capable of translating technical solutions into business outcomes.

Strong leadership, project management, and vendor coordination abilities
