Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining & increasing corporate loans portfolio coordinating with other divisions and act as the focal point between the corporate clients and the bank, to ensure that all clients are served in the best possible manner.


Job Description:

  • Prepare detailed financial and market study to assess the market positioning/developments which impact the credit portfolio and make recommendations for suitable changes (product/ process).
  • Initiate the Credit Appraisal Memos (CAs) designing the financing packages and structures for existing and new credit clients and the associated terms and conditions.
  • Assist in preparing full credit appraisals for potential client including industry and financial assessments.
  • Assist in the preparing, reviewing and submitting existing CAs on time with a focus on early warning signs .
  • Monitor and analyze macro and micro economic developments to identify potential risk on existing customers or business developments opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed accurate financial and market study to assess the market positioning of existing/new clients within a specific industry.
  • Conduct regular accounts follow up to avoid the occurrence of past dues, excess, shortfall or breach of terms and conditions of approved facilities.
  • Conduct periodical visits to clients and present a comprehensive call reports.
  • Support Corporate Banking Services team to serve clients in the best way, as per approved SLA.
  • Ensure maintaining proper regular contact with clients to sort any internal/ departmental issues with immediate action.
  • Serve as a focal contact point between the branches, the relevant departments of the bank and the clients to ensure that clients are served in the best way, as per approved SLA.
  • Address any deviation of approved package or any risks emerged before conducting the regular annual review
  • Enhance profitability of aggregate client account through cross selling and promoting bank/group services.
  • Analyze credit data and financial statements on a periodical basis to determine the degree of risk involved in a corporate’s extended debt.
  • Monitor any change in account pattern, ensure utilization within terms and conditions and validity of support status and covenants.
  • Engage in horizontal and vertical expansion.
  • Ensure completeness and periodically updating corporate credit files
  • Ensure awareness of business line strategy and effective contribution as advised by team leader / corporate head.
  • Proactively ensure no past dues occurs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Banking, Finance and Investment.
  • 2 – 4 years banking experience with knowledge of corporate business lines and proven record for and profitability.
  • Certified in core credit course
