About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures across a wide range of enterprise environments. The ideal candidate brings strong architectural leadership, deep hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a proven track record of driving large-scale cloud transformations. This role is fully remote and requires an architect with excellent technical depth, communication skills, and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design secure, scalable GCP architectures covering networking, compute, storage, IAM, and organization policies.
• Build and manage GKE clusters, containerized workloads, and global/regional load balancers.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and implement CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build.
• Execute migrations from on-prem or other clouds into GCP.
• Implement security controls including IAM best practices, VPC Service Controls, SCC, Cloud Armor.
• Optimize reliability, performance, and cost across cloud workloads.
• Lead architecture reviews, enforce best practices, and support troubleshooting across environments.
• Produce HLD/LLD documentation and collaborate with dev, security, and operations teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or architecture roles.
• Proven track record designing and implementing GCP-based solutions in production environments.
• Practical experience building enterprise-grade automation using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with containerized applications, GKE, and cloud-native deployment models.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and identity governance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional technical teams.
• Experience delivering documentation, architecture artifacts, and technical leadership.
