We are looking for a Senior RAN Engineer experienced in ZTE telecommunications equipment.
Responsibilities
Deployment & Integration: Lead the end-to-end integration of ZTE BBU (Baseband Unit) and RRU (Remote Radio Unit) hardware. Network Optimization: Utilize ZTE Net Numen and UME (Unified Management Expert) to monitor and optimize network performance, focusing on handover success rates and throughput. Expert Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve L2/L3 issues, hardware alarms, and synchronization errors specific to ZTE platforms. Feature Implementation: Execute the rollout of ZTE-specific features like Magic Radio, Massive MIMO, and dynamic spectrum sharing. Technical Documentation: Develop and validate Method of Procedure (MOP) documents for ZTE software upgrades and network expansions. Leadership: Act as a technical mentor for junior staff and provide on-call support for critical network outages.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering. Experience: 5–8 years in a RAN Engineer role, preferably with experience in a Tier-1 operator or directly with ZTE.

Required Skills
Vendor Expertise: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience exclusively with ZTE RAN technology. Hardware Knowledge: Deep familiarity with ZTE BBU (e.g., V9200, B8200/8300) and ZTE 5G NR/4G LTE Radio units. Software & Tools: Expert proficiency in ZTE Net Numen (U31), UME, and Net MAX for performance management. Protocols & Architecture: Comprehensive understanding of ZTE-specific signaling, Call Flow analysis, and 3GPP standards. Analysis Tools: Proficiency in ZTE trace tools and third-party analysis software (Nemo, TEMS, or Actix).
